Your art work could be featured on a new coin.

              The Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce is preparing for a new geocache coin.  President Kory Eastman says they are looking for an artist to design the new coin under the theme 80 years of community celebrating the city’s 80th anniversary.  The contest will run from March 1st to 29th with details available at the Chamber office.

              The Chamber office has been expanded to include the neighboring former SPCA office.  They advise the internet and phone lines are not working but should be back in service next week.  The Chamber will also be updating their website.

              The Chamber’s next meeting will be Tuesday, March 12th at noon at the Friendship Center but they will try an evening meeting on March 26th in the Unwinder at the Victoria Inn starting at 6:30.
