Foran Mining has commissioned a ground based deep penetrating time domain electromagnetic geophysical survey on its McIlvenna Bay, Hanson and Balsam properties 65 kilometers west of Flin Flon.  The survey is to be conducted by Koop Geotechnical Services.

              Foran President Patrick Soares says VMS deposits typically form in clusters.  He says in and around their 43 thousand hectare land holdings west of Flin Flon they already know about their large McIlvenna Bay deposit, several zones with historic mineral resource estimates and numerous showings demonstrating the cluster of VMS mineralization in the area.

              The survey is expected to take four to six weeks allowing for drilling this winter in high priority targets.
