You Are Invited to Take Part in an Earth Day March Monday.

Students and staff at Frontier Collegiate in Cranberry Portage will be taking part in a March for Climate Change Monday afternoon.  Teacher Bill Taylor explains scientists have stated for years that our changing climate can be attributed to humans increased carbon emissions.  He says the new climate change report released earlier this month indicates that Canada’s climate is warming at roughly twice the rate of the rest of the world. He adds adults are not doing enough to reduce climate change and it’s time for the youth to act.

The Frontier Collegiate Climate Change March will take place from 12:40 to 1:40 Monday afternoon.  Taylor says you can join the march, come out and watch the march or take climate change action on your own.
