The Flin Flon and District Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Community Futures Greenstone presented this year’s business awards yesterday.  The presentation was part of the Infusion Entrepreneurship Conference.

             

This year’s Business Excellence Awards presented by Chamber President Karen MacKinnon went to Creighton Petro Canada Tim Horton’s Kiosk owned and operated by PBCN PA Fuel and Convenience, Alluring Impressions Spa owned and operated by Joanne and Jarrett Kemp and Mugsy’s Deli owned and operated by Natasha Daneliuk.

             

A new award to honor youth in the region the Emerging Entrepreneur Award was presented to grade eleven Hapnot Collegiate student Maryn McKee who operates Winx Eyelashes and has been involved in several prior ventures.  And the Community Ambassador Award for an organization that contributes to the betterment of the community was presented to Johnny’s Social Club operated by Greg East and Mark Rowe.
