Saskatchewan residents can get their free flu shot starting today at public health clinics. Saskatchewan’s Chief Medical Health Officer Dr. Saqib Shabab says influenza can cause serious illness and may lead to complications, hospitalization and even death recommending you get your flu shot early in the season to protect yourself, your family and those to whom you provide care.
Flu clinics start for the Creighton area today at the Health Center from 9 to 5 and continue this month through November and into December. For a complete list go online to www.4flu.ca, click on clinic locations and scroll down to Creighton or Denare Beach.
Flu Shots are recommended for those at higher risk including seniors, people with underlying chronic health conditions, children under five and pregnant women.
