They Have Supported Women in our Community for 20 Years.

The Womens Safe Haven Resource Service celebrated their 20th anniversary last night.

Guest speaker Father Paul Bringleson said it’s hard to ignore suffering and violence against women and children must not be tolerated.  He spoke on the need for honesty in a relationship, the need to be open to other points of view, to live differently and be willing to give one hundred percent.  He explained we need to use our lives and see them as always being an influence each and every day seen and heard by those we live with and work with and those we love, never diminish the significance of who you are and we make mistakes and we don’t always get it right but remember tolerance, there must always be room for not to keep it perfect but we must continue to try.

Executive Director Colleen Arnold thanked all who have supported them over the years adding we need more men to work with them as allies to stop violence against women and girls.
