Information is Available on the Effects of Marijuana on Work.

 

The Northern Manitoba Sector Council has made arrangements with Chartered Professionals in Human Resources to provide a seminar on the legalization of cannabis and the workplace in Flin Flon November 1st.  The Council’s Executive Director Jamie Grant explains basically there are several questions about the anticipated impact on the culture and safety in the workplace and this workshop is designed to cover topics such as developing an effective drug use policy and how to identify someone under the influence.  She adds the presenters that they have coming up to Flin Flon, The Pas and Thompson are a lawyer from Taylor McCaffrey and an Addictions and Training Specialist both from Winnipeg.
