You Can Talk With Books During Culture Days.

As part of Culture Days the Flin Flon Public Library is holding a wine and cheese evening featuring Human Books Friday.  Administrator Courtney Campbell explains they have five Human Books this year including Karen Clark a local artist, Noe Ishaka who is a local teacher and a father who will be talking about his immigrant experience to Canada, Brad Bellegarde who is an Indigenous hip hop artist who’s worked with local students  making music, Marlowe Cochrane who is a former police officer who’s a magician who works with youth to make positive life choices and Val Meiner also known as Puff the Clown who’s had a long time involvement with Culture Days in Flin Flon.

The Human Books will be available at the Library from 7:30 to 9:30 Friday night with the doors open at 7.  Along with wine and cheese they will have apple cider, coffee, tea and a 50-50 draw.

The Library is also holding a Seniors Brunch Friday morning from 10 to 12 for seniors to get together over brunch and help identify photos for the Flin Flon Heritage Project.
