The North Star Quilters Guild is holding its Quilt Show at the Flin Flon Community Hall tomorrow and Saturday.  The Guild’s Audrey Neufeld says there’s going to be about 130 quilted items with quilters from Flin Flon, Creighton, Denare Beach, Cranberry Portage and they have two members from southern Saskatchewan displaying items for the first time.  She adds there’s also a Merchant’s Mall for quilters and other sewers with Road 17 North from Winkler and Mami’s Country Quilts from Duck Lake, Saskatchewan and both venders will be doing a demonstration of some new products.


 There will also be raffles, a door prize, toonie parade, you can sign up for a beginners quilt class and enjoy coffee, tea and cookies.  The show is open tomorrow from noon to 9 and Saturday from ten to four in the Community Hall with admission five dollars each day.
