The Community Adult Learning Center has started their new season. The Center’s Heather Jobes explains the Community Adult Learning Center is a certified adult learning and literacy facility that provides and supports the development and delivery of adult focused programming for adults 18 years and over. She says their program offers help with literacy in areas such as reading, writing and communications as well as help with high school math and language arts credits. Jobes notes scheduling is flexible to meet your needs and their program is free of charge. She adds they also help prepare you for your GED test offered at their Center in November and registration for the GED test should be completed by mid October.
The programs at the Center run from September to June from 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday. For information you can call 204-687-3223 or visit them on the lower level of the former Co-op store on Main Street.
