Flin Flons Ray Berg spent the summer collecting pledges for the Journey of Hope Walk.  He had set a goal of five thousand dollars to support the free programs and services provided by the Manitoba Schizophrenia Society through their annual Walk and says he passed that.  He explains he’s been able to collect approximately 44 hundred dollars in cash and 900 dollars in personal cheques and he’s also been able to send out about 150 index cards explaining to people how they can donate online but he has no idea how much was donated online.

The Walk takes place Saturday in Winnipeg and Ray will be represented by the Society’s Special Events Supervisor Katrina Tinman.  If you still want to pledge you can email Katrina@mss.mb.ca. For information you can call Ray at 204-687-8105.
