You Can Get a Ride Home Tomorrow Night and on New Years Eve.

Operation Red Nose was out last Friday and Saturday nights to get the Christmas weekend underway.  The Rotary Club’s Committee Chair Ted Hewitt says they had another successful weekend of getting people and their vehicles home safely.  He reports between Friday and Saturday nights they had 54 rides and their volunteers came from a variety of locations throughout the community including the Rotary Club.  He added they’re still looking for volunteers for this coming Friday the 29th and obviously the more volunteers they get for New Years Eve December 31st the better the service they can provide because it’s going to be very busy.

If you can help out you can pick up a volunteer form at Scotia Bank or online at www.operationrednose.com, fill out the form and take it to the RCMP office with two pieces of identification.
