Operation Red Nose Continues to be Well Used But They Need More Volunteers.

Operation Red Nose had a 4th successful weekend of getting people and their vehicles home safely.  The Rotary Club’s committee chair Ted Hewitt says this past weekend again went well.  He reports they provided a total of 57 rides in the two days which is good adding volunteers from the Steelworkers on Friday evening and from Hudbay staff on Saturday evening provided this service.  He says next Friday and Saturday the 22nd and 23rd Red Nose service will be available from 9 with the last call at 2:30.

Hewitt adds they desperately need volunteers to work this coming Friday and Saturday as well as the 29th and 31st or there may be no service.  Applications are available online at www.operationrednose.com or at Scotia Bank.  Just fill it out and take it to the RCMP office with two pieces of identification. If you have any questions you can call Ted at 204-687-7450.
