The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is being held in Flin Flon Sunday. One of the organizers Bob Wood says they’ll start at St. Ann’s Church Hall on Centre Street with registration at 12:30 and the walk at 1. He says they’re going to walk from St. Ann’s over to the boardwalk and then over to the stairs and back. He adds the goal of their walk is funding for a cure for type one diabetes as well as raising awareness for type one diabetes.
