SAFE Work Manitoba is holding three prevention workshops that provide education to safety and health committee members, workers and supervisors.  The first is SAFE Committee Basics on Tuesday, October 17th in which participants will learn about the role and obligations of the safety and health committee in the workplace.  The second is Supervisors and SAFE Work on Wednesday the 18th in which participants will leave with an understanding of the role and obligations of supervisors when it comes to safety and health and how they can influence safety culture in the workplace and the third is Hazard Identification and Risk Control Thursday, October 19th in which participants will learn four methods of identifying hazards, along with how to assess risk and implement methods to control risks.                     

             

The workshops will run each day from 8:30 to 4 at the Northern Mining Academy, Room 207 – 2 Hart Avenue and you can register and learn more by visiting www.safemanitoba.com/education.  The workshops are free.
