The Relay for Life is coming up September 9th from noon to midnight at Queen’s Park to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Society. The Committee’s Margot Gray says they have had success with volunteers in the past and are looking forward to people volunteering this year. She says if you just want to come down spend an hour or two helping out with things like the set up or the take down and this year it won’t be so bad because you don’t have to stay all night as it will be done after midnight. She adds the different booths like the registration, there’s the survivor booth, selling tickets, the penny parade, the finance part of it, anything with the kids as well as selling and placing the luminaries.
