Due to extremely dry conditions fire bans are in effect for the town of Creighton and village of Denare Beach.  Open fires are prohibited until further notice.  It does not include propane and briquette barbeques.

Currently in Saskatchewan 47 fires are burning 6 of which are not contained, 35 have ongoing assessment, 4 are contained and at 2 fires activity is focused on protecting property.

In the northeast section that includes the Creighton and Denare Beach area 4 fires are not contained, 2 are contained and 4 have ongoing assessment.
