The Relay for Life takes place in Flin Flon September 9th at Queen’s Park from noon to midnight to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society. The committee’s Caitlin Bailey says teams and individuals are now collecting pledges so they are having an early bank night. She says the bank night will be tomorrow night at 6 pm at the Victoria Inn and you just come in and ask at the front desk for the Relay for Life room. She explains this is giving teams the opportunity to turn in fund raising money so that their total fund raising dollars are recognized on their online system and this will count towards their team standings and its nice to get your fund raising money in before the event as well.
