The 28^th annual Cranberry Portage Trout Challenge is coming up August 5^th and 6^th on Big Athapap.  The Committee’s Mike Wesner says the prize structure hasn’t changed. He says once again this year they have first, second and third place as guaranteed prizes, first place is 3500 dollars, second 2500 and third place is 2000 guaranteed.  He adds fourth to tenth are based on a 100 boat entry but they usually average a little over 60 boats so tenth place usually ends up about 400 dollars.
