Frontier Collegiate in Cranberry Portage is one of sixty locations in Canada to host the Power of Ideas tour.  The Collegiate’s Bill Taylor says they are the only high school in Manitoba hosting the tour.  He says there are three parts in the tour that runs Tuesday and Wednesday next week presenting high end information on Canada’s innovation future, present and past. He explains the first part is the exhibition that’s put on by the Perimeter Institute and it will be a walk through exhibition where students and the general public can walk through the gym and observe various innovations in science.  The second part is talks that students and the general public can attend and they are held in the gym and there will be four talks during the day and they will also be on topics related to innovations in science.

Taylor says the third part is Maker workshops including lasers, 3-D printers and walk through stations presented by Actua, one of Canada’s highest stem science outreach organizations whose role is to inspire future innovation.
