The Primary Health Care Center has been hosting a series of telehealth seminars presented by the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.  The Society’s First Link Coordinator Marilyn Maartense says they are part of Telehealth Family Education for Those Experiencing Dementia.  She says the final session on April 25^th is Food and Nutrition presented by a dietician and it will be how food impacts our physical and emotional health.  She says they will learn how nutritional needs and eating habits are affected as dementia progresses and suggestions and solutions will be offered.
