Larping took place during Culture Days in Flin Flon in 2014 and 15 at Creekside Park.  The Arts Council’s Crystal Kolt explains it comes from an acronym Live Action Role Playing and involves teens and adults.  She explains they have a role playing game which includes a physical battle and often people come in costumes but it’s not necessary and it’s a whole lot of fun.  She says its happening all across North America and Europe as well and its going to be happening in Flin Flon on a regular basis so they’re excited that something like that came from Culture Days.
