Pearl Anderson celebrated 100 years yesterday. Anderson says she lived in Cranberry Portage in the house her husband built until she moved to the Hemlock Apartments in Flin Flon. She says she came to Cranberry Portage in ’35 around November and more or less lived there up until she moved here about two years ago. She says she had five children, grandchildren there were 16 and great grandchildren. Anderson added she always says stay away from the junk food.
Over half of her 16 grandchildren and many of her great grandchildren still reside nearby. They will be holding a come and go tea Saturday from 2 to 4 at the Legion Hall in Cranberry Portage where Pearl is a lifetime member of the Legion Auxiliary.
