The Trustees of Flin Flon School Division have announced the appointment of Tammy Ballantyne as Assistant Superintendent.  She has 23 years experience as an educator working as a teacher, resource teacher, Vice-Principal and Principal of Ruth Betts Community School since 2012.  Ballantyne says she looks forward to the new job.  She explains it’s been both a privilege and an honor to be awarded the position of Assistant Superintendent.  She says she looks forward to the challenges that come with the new position and looks forward to continuing her career with the Flin Flon School Division in this new capacity.

Ballantyne will replace Dean Grove who will be retiring after serving as Assistant Superintendent since 2002.
