Tomorrow is International Women’s Day with the theme Be Bold For Change.  Flin Flon Women’s Resource Center’s Barb Hopkinson says the day offers support for women and girls to achieve their ambitions and to help them advance and unleash their limitless potential.  She explains over the decades the objective of Women’s Day celebrations has evolved and embraced culture to emerge as a celebration of appreciation, respect and love towards women.  She adds Women’s Day is also celebrated in schools and forms part of the curriculum to spread awareness of empowerment of women in their roles and achievements.
