Callinex Mine continues its drilling campaign at the Pine Bay Project in the Flin Flon Mining District. They report they have drilled six holes since late January. Two drill rigs are currently operating with one testing the southern strike extension of the Cabin VMS Horizon while the other is deepening a previously drilled hole to reach the sparsely tested portions of the Pine Bay VMS Horizon to the north of the historic Pine Bay Deposit 16 kilometers east of Flin Flon. Assay results are expected towards the end of March.
The focus of the current campaign has been to identify opportunities with the potential to host significant volcanic massive sulphide mineralization within the project area.
The current drilling campaign will continue until spring break up in mid to late March and will resume in June once new geophysical work has been completed and ground conditions improve.
