The Films Up North Series Will be Part of Culture Days.

The Central Canada Film Group will present a Toronto International Film Festival movie Sunday.  The group’s Colin Davis says they will be showing the film The Man Who New Infinity which is a 2015 British biographical drama.  He says it’s about groundbreaking mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan.  He had grown up uneducated and poor in Madras, India and the film is about how he went from there to earning admittance to Cambridge University during World War One where against all odds became a pioneer in mathematical theories.

The movie is free and will be shown at 3:30 Sunday in the Dorothy Ash Theatre at Hapnot Collegiate.
