The Flin Flon Creighton and Area SPCA is celebrating the fourth anniversary of their shelter opening on Saturday.  Shelter Manager Carmen Ward invites you to bring your family out for some great events.  She says it’s going to start off with their pooch parade at 12:30 and they’re hoping to get the kids out dressing up their dogs in silly fun costumes and they’re going to do a contest for the best dressed dog, best dog and owner duo and they’re hoping some kids will decorate their bikes or wagons.  She says they’ll take a walk around the creek and when they come back they’ll celebrate with a barbeque.

Ward adds they will also be holding a clear the shelter adoption sale so all cats and dogs over the age of six months are going to be half price with an approved adoption application.  The celebration runs from 12 to 3 Saturday at their shelter at the corner of the Perimeter Highway and the Cliff Lake Road.
