As part of Culture Days the Flin Flon Public Library is holding a wine and cheese evening featuring Human Books Friday, September 30th. Administrator Cindy McLean explains they have five exciting Human Books this year including Fire Chief Chad Cooper, Heather Chrupalo, Theresa Wride, Jerry Hamm and visiting herbalist Khelti Anderson. She says people become books and they’re borrowed for conversation and it’s a very casual evening with no formal presentation as people just wander around and check out the interesting books, enjoy a glass of wine with 26 different types to try and there’s free coffee, tea, bannock and numerous types of cheese. McLean adds also new this year is they’re going to have babysitting downstairs.
The Human Books will be available at the library from 7:30 to 9:30 Friday night September 30th.
