Residents of Creighton and Denare Beach as well as other Saskatchewan residents are invited to provide input on the restructuring of the province’s health care system. A three person advisory panel is reviewing the current Regional Health Authority structure and will provide advice on a system with fewer RHAs. The panel is also looking at services that could be delivered more efficiently and effectively on a provincial scale, examining RHA board governance and accountability and identifying ways to enhance measurement of health system performance with the goal of ensuring the patient is the center of a redefined system.
The panel is accepting written submissions from all interested individuals and groups with forms accessed at www.saskatchewan.ca. The deadline for submissions is Monday, September 26th.
