The Women’s Safe Haven is sponsoring a Women Rising workshop next week. Organizer Courtney Gieg says it’s an all day workshop open to all women. She explains it’s aimed at empowering women with learning new skills or refreshing ones they already have so they can gain or regain the confidence they need to live life to the fullest. She adds the workshop is very interactive and it’s aimed at keeping participants engaged and the focus is on women’s physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing.
The workshop runs Saturday September 24th from 9:30 to 4 at the Flin Flon Friendship Center. It’s a free event but registration is required by calling 204-681-3105 by Wednesday.
