The Town of Creighton, Village of Denare Beach and City of Flin Flon are asking for applications for a Regional Economic Development Officer.  Creighton Mayor Bruce Fidler says reps from the three communities and their Mayors got together and decided this was a good way for the region to move forward. He explains any economic development that happens whether its in Denare Beach or Flin Flon or Creighton is going to affect the entire region so it just seemed the most common sense way to approach it is to have a Regional Economic Development Officer that works for the region for the three communities and hopefully they can build a bit of a sustainable future or improve the future of the area.
