A Pledge Ride on the Weekend was a Success.

Organizer Paulette Adolphe says their 4th annual Breast Cancer Pledge Ride North held Saturday went well. The ride from Flin Flon to Gyles Park and back raises money and awareness of breast cancer.  She says they had about 34 bikes that took part and they were geared up ready for the rain and just got a little bit so it worked out perfectly to have a lunch out at Gyles where they had a nice visit and a poker run all the way back into town.  She adds they did the parade through town and had a few people add into the parade so they were probably up to 40 bikes at that point.

The Ride was followed by a social where Ken Hyndman of Rapid City, Manitoba was the winner of the 2016 Indian Chief Classic Motorcycle.  The rider from furthest away was from Lloydminster and the most pledges were collected by Ken Strietle who raised 1830 dollars.
