The 27^th annual Cranberry Portage Trout Challenge is coming up July 30^th and 31^st on Big Athapap.  The Committee’s Mike Wesner says the prizes will be the same as past years with first, second and third prizes guaranteed so first prize is 35 hundred, second place is 25 hundred and third place is 2 thousand and then there’s money prizes right down to tenth place which is 700 dollars based on 100 boat entries.

The boat parade is on Friday night July 29^th with fishing the following Saturday and Sunday.  For information on registering you can call 204-472-3044 or go to Cranberry Portage Trout Challenge on face book.
