Denare Beach Recreation is offering fun at their Day Camps starting this week and running until August 12th. The Camp’s Regan Schneider says they have a variety of activities for five to 11 year olds. She says they offer a lot of outside time as in the afternoon they do a lot of swimming and they’ve taught some of the girls traditional hoop dancing. She says in the mornings they have lots of crafts and they find coloring to be the best. She adds they have themed weeks so the first week is Under the Sea, next week is Camping and then they have Outer Space with lots of science experiments so it’s going to be a good time.
The camps run Monday to Friday from 10 to 4:30. To register or to get more information you can call the Sand Castle at 306-362-2150. The cost is 55 dollars a week or you can drop in for a fee of 12 dollars a day.
