Superintendent Blaine Veitch reported the Wise Kidnetic Energy Camp will once again be returning to our community this summer. Run out of Ecole McIsaac School this year there are forty spots available for students aged nine to twelve. Registration is on a first come first served basis at www.wisekidneticenergy.ca and usually fills up fast. The camp runs from August 15th to the 19th.
The Division’s outdoor education program kicks off soon with a hiking trip set for May 30th while the Division’s band program gets set for a trip to Saskatoon this weekend. Schools in the community will be doing their part in the 20 Minutes of Magic event this Friday to assist in cleaning up the neighborhoods. Ruth Betts students are hosting a talent show on May 19th at 6:30. Parents and family are encouraged to attend and Board Chair Murray Skeavington reported the recent Drive One For Your School event at Northland Ford raised 38 hundred dollars towards the snack program at Ruth Betts School.
