Grade 4 to 10 students from Flin Flon schools are in Winnipeg today to participate in the Red River Heritage Fair.  The Fair gives students the chance to learn more about our nations past under the theme Canadian Heritage.  Teacher Michelle Reitlo says they have 14 students with projects from Hapnot Collegiate and McIsaac School.  She says one is called Canada Yums and it has different Canadian baking, they have a project on Percy Moggy from Gypsumville who escaped from Stony Mountain, a project on the local Queen Mermaid contest through the generations, sports, some current event type things, a whole bunch of different projects going down this year.

The Fair takes place at the University of Winnipeg today. Last year over 200 students took part with Flin Flon students the only ones from outside Winnipeg.
