The Flin Flon Community Choir is starting a new season of rehearsals to prepare for upcoming musical events. Director Crystal Kolt says this is the 20th anniversary of the Community Choir and there will be three great choral opportunities for choir members. She explains they have been invited to perform with Michael Gabriel at the Contact Showcase in October, then they’re performing with Jesse Peters for the Christmas concert at the end of November and then for people who are interested in heading back to New York they’re going to be performing in Carnegie Hall with Maestro Jonathan Griffith and gang in June so it’s going to be a banner year.
Registration for the Community Choir will take place at 11 tomorrow morning at McIsaac School and she welcomes past and new members to attend including anyone interested in just trying it out to see if they like it.
