The Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life gets underway tomorrow evening.  Committee Chair Margot Grey says they have 197 people walking in the Relay on 16 teams.  She invites everyone to come out and support the teams. She says if you’ve never been to one or if you’re not part of a team you are more than welcome to come out even if you can spare a few hours to help them set up, just to volunteer a bit of time or just have a look around if you don’t know what the Relay is like to peak your interest in the next one.

The teams have been fund raising and members will be taking turns walking the track at the Creighton Ball Diamond from 6 tomorrow evening until 6 Sunday morning reminding everyone that cancer never sleeps.  Those not walking will have a variety of activities to take part in all night.
