Adult Classes are Getting Underway for Another Season.

The Community Adult Learning Center has started their new season.  Coordinator Barry Hanrahan says they offer a continuum of learning from basic literacy to GED preparation.  He says the range of programs includes literacy, essential math skills, life skills instruction, computer literacy, apprenticeship requirement preparation and tutorial support when available.  He adds intake is continuous and learners attend an interview to establish wants, needs and goals.

The programs at the Center are free and they run from September to June from 8:30 to 4:30 Monday to Friday.  For information you can call 204-687-3223 or visit them on the lower level of the Co-op store.
