The Norva Center is hosting an artists retreat August 9th to 15th. The group’s Karen Clark says they invited local artists as well as others to share the experience at the Bakers Narrows Lodge Conference Center. She says they have this carved out period of time that is totally devoted to whatever their arts experience or desires are and they can work together or individually. She says it’s not instructional but often people will approach one another to teach a technique or even just to share an idea.
Clark adds there will be a public display and sale of the work done during the week on Saturday, August 15th from 7 to 9 at the Lodge. The cost for the retreat is 150 dollars.
