The man suspected of exposing himself to two females on the Flinty Boardwalk walking trail Saturday morning and Sunday night has been arrested.

The RCMP report at about 7 last night they received a call from a member of the public advising that a man matching the suspect’s description provided in a media release was lying on a picnic table along the boardwalk. Officers immediately attended and arrested him without incident.  A 38 year old man from the area remains in custody pending indecent act and breach related charges.

Sergeant Bert Paquet says they received several tips from the public that were instrumental in locating and apprehending the suspect in this case.  He adds they would like to thank members of the public and the media for their assistance in finding this individual so quickly.
