The Big Island Drive In Theatre just outside Flin Flon at the south end of Big Island Lake opens for the summer tomorrow night.  New owner Dawn Hlady says they have a new camera and have done some upgrades to the concession building in preparation for the opening.  She says they’ve given it a bit of a face lift, done some painting and a bit of remodeling on the inside, cleaned it up a bit, patched some floors, just given it a kind of old theatre feel again, cleaned up some of the yard and they have gone digital which is keeping drive ins alive these days.

The first movie of the season is Jurassic World starting tomorrow night at 10:30.
