The 7th annual Frontier Collegiate Fishing Derby was held on Neso Lake on number ten highway Sunday afternoon. The Collegiate’s Monica Genaille reports the first place winner of one thousand dollars was Chris Roy of Flin Flon, second place at 500 dollars went to Ron Brightnose of Cormorant and the third prize gas ice auger with to Lannie Bowsman of Flin Flon.
Genaille adds they had 114 people buy tickets to take part in the derby and they raised just under 34 hundred dollars.
