Three writers have spent the past 2 years getting the background story on Arnold and Gail Morberg the founders of Calm Air.

Gail Morberg says they bought their first plane not thinking anything like this would happen. She says they got married and moved to Stony Rapids in northern Saskatchewan at the east end of Lake Athabasca and they were in isolation so to get anywhere they bought an aircraft.

Gail and Arnold Morberg started Calm Air in 1962 and ended up selling it in 2009. The book Northern Lights is available online at heartlandbooks.ca.
